Blog #2 -- Thomas Quintus

Friendliness is next to another word that begins with the letter F in the dictionary. This of course makes it extremely important to me primarily because that is not the grade I want to receive in this class. Therefore the importance of respect and sensitivity is very highly regarded in my writing, but however, I feel that in my day-to-day conversations my concept of sensitivity and respectfulness is much more lax. For example, I cuss profusely in conversations, but not in my writing. I feel there is a certain level of professionalism that is involved with writing, especially for news, that makes you want to report something effectively and in the most positive manner possible.

I am not completely sure you have to be "the most positive" but, rather, the most unbiased.
